The first time I heard this.....

Was in a youtube vid called: Metroid Kraid's Lair Remix

And you know? This sounds like a Metroid Prime remix of Kraid's Lair. It seriously does. Also, could you maybe remix the Brinstar song from Metroid 1?

The Brinstar theme seems like a possibility. Once I finish up with my current projects, I might experiment with that.

It does sound like Klonoa, then again, KlonoaMAST3R. LOL, well anyway, the beginning (yes I say the beginning, AGAIN, just like the thingeh song.) sounds like something out of a klonoa game.

Interesting Sounds.

It DOES surprisingly sound like a song out of a Klonoa game. Like to me, being a big Klonoa fan myself. It sounds like a desert by the name of Kira Jowa (Kira Howa)

Edit 11/13/18 (seven years later):
Love this piece just as much now as I did then.
A little more in depth this time.
The style to me sounds closer to Klonoa DtP on PS1 than it's sequel on PS2.
This is most likely due to how the instruments play and move.
As for where the name Kira Jowa came from... I think I came up with that on spot. It was the name that spontaneously came to mind whilst listening.

PS: I'm such a dork I have all eight released Klonoa games. :3

This version in particular of newgrounds is the best I've heard, and dear god I sure as hell agree with munchie544, should Nintendo make another Starfox game, this song should damn well deserve to be in it, 10\10 Stars, 5\5 Votes, and I'll fav it.

To start, the title is a typo. This is the theme from Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, not Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons Of Liberty. Not only is this a good piece, you remix the Hideo Red Disc Version Of The Theme Of Solid Snake! IT"S AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TEN OUT OF TEN!!!!

Dude, this has to be the best MM3 remix I've heard, but the ending could've been better, like you could've just brought the song back to the 8-bit thing and then loop it there.
